Fun and cultural activities are offered, built on the hosted publics’ abilities, social skills, know-how. The projects have to promote an effective participation in the life of the town. They thus facilitate social recognition of these people and help change the image society has of them.

Periods and places for information or collective activities within the living space have to be regulated because of the
semi-collective nature of the sites, the diversity of the audience and the complexity of the situations. A major concern is to involve the neighbourhood in these approaches, to avoid a situation of isolation within an enclosed structure or area.
